What is SUCCESS?

Post new topic

KrisDirk

Success begins when you start to believe in yourself.  Our loved ones truly believes in us...even a complete stranger is capable of believing in us...therefore we should likewise believe in ourselves...The essence of Success is contentment of what you have and what you are (Life in a more general sense).  Your personal Success can also depend on how BIG is your DREAM.  Dreams do come true when you start to "wake up" and make them happen!

Guys, start sharing your own meaning of success and even your success stories...

Success is purely dependent  on the individual's outlook (it should be but society
seems to influence it too much)  as to what is important for one to achieve that will
bring them true pleasure and happiness from their efforts.

An example of the Success of a Dream:
Barack Obama, President and the Prince of Change once had a dream...To bring about CHANGE. What change did he achieve - apart from repeatedly changing his mind - virtually nothing!
So what was his success? His success was he got elected for a second term.
May the Good Lord (if he exists) please save us from Dreamers.

Mr Obama rose from the bowels of a society that considered him a second class citizen to become its president.  That is success regardless of how little he has accomplished since.

Agreed!
But to me it seems a small measure of SUCCESS when a President's contribution to American policy CHANGE has been the mere fact that he was chosen as a man of African ancestry in order to impress the world of the nation's multicultural virtues.

Yes Kathylajolie,i have mentioned success is  a scarcity of failure.......means when a person is not failed.........means he/she has talent and done hard work secondly whatever may be the reason when you are failed then no success,so finally it is also understandable......luck favours when you are succeeded...............

It is largely irrelevant what American presidents do in office as that is the final employment they will ever have.  In terms of their success, getting there is more important than doing anything there.
