Malaysian's are divided into three main races, Malay, Chinese, and Indians.  Living in Malaysia for twenty years, and working with them have given me insights of their characteristics.
:) Malays are the easy-go-lucky ones, they take it easy in life,
:one Chinese are the natural hardworking ones, they are all about numbers, money, money, money, they are the money-making-machine. Although they are already rich, they can't seem to stop making more money.  The richest person in Malaysia is Robert Kuok (Shangri-la Hotel owner),
:top: Indians - they have to do everything double or triple.  Study double or extra hard, and work double/triple hard, but when you encounter a highly educated Indian fella, expect him to be extremely intelligent who-knows-it-all, talkative but only intelligent conversation allowed.  :)

Good observation. I'm a Malaysian of Indian origin.
