I would like to invite you to post pictures about specials places or cities where you visited in Chile and share some information about it.

I will start with "Las Dunas" a place in a small city called "Con-Cón" near Viña del Mar (V Región). This is a special place where you can visit with friends, lovers or just alone, some people take pictures or do bodyboard, the Dunes are just front the sea so its an amazing place in the middle of the city, that has more than 2 millions of years of creation and you can come to visit free and take good memories.

This is Horcón, a little fishing village further up the coast from Viña. The locals tell stories of mermaids, sea monsters and duendes in the woods and I'll swear I saw Neptune walking along the street.

Santiago itself isn't bad, just beyond the concrete jungle there are beautiful parks like this, San Carlos de Apoquindo

and this, Quebrada de Macul

And this, of course, you can't leave Chile without seeing the Torres del Paine. This was my 2nd attempt, the first day they were hiding behind fog and swirling snow.

I think if you already uploaded to somewhere else, you can copy the URL in the button of images.

I would like to see Horcon pictures, that town was created for Hippies in 60´s, well... "high class" hippies that have the support from their families to built their houses so far, also today, 2 km from Horcon there is the only nude beach of Chile and you can notice that people already has mini-farms of drugs  in their balconies (in downtown), you can see "Peyote", a powerfull drug to get extreme hallucinations, PEACE!

I pasted them in as links but unfortunately it still says 'Link under review'

I guess new posters aren't trusted enough and their links have to me moderated and there are no moderaters around to do it. Unfortunately I can't delete it either. I'd post a link to another site but I'm guessing that would be blocked as well.

I've asked for the above posts to be deleted as they're pointless without links.

Hi Rachel,

I've validated your posts ;)

(when a new member posts links they are always under review ... it shouldn't happen again now)

Beautiful pictures !
