how much one can save with 1350 OMR monthly salary(all inclusive)?

Hi,
Can anybody tell me what is saving potential with 1350 Omr monthly salary for a family of three (1.5 year daughter)?
I am mechanical engineer having 7.5 yrs experience inEPC field. Is the offered salary up to the mark?

Rent would be a major expense. And how much it would be will depend largely on where you are going to be working. If it's in downtown Muscat, then set aside about R.O. 400/- per month for rent and utilities.

Your living expenses would be in the region of about R.O. 350/-- R.O. 400/-, but again this would depend on how much or how little you choose to spend.

Suggest you go through the numerous helpful posts in the forum available under the 'Cost of Living' topic, to get a good picture of what the expense would be like.
