so the visa automatic expiry after 6 months, Then after 2 years of visa ban period again need to submit NOC for family visa or new Job visa. So here the 2 year NOC rule not works! Plz reply

After 2-years from the date of visa cancellation, the ban ceases to be in effect.

Hi, I’m going to leave Oman in a week but I have mobile service contract. Do I need to cancel my mobile Servis contract ? If I don’t cancel it am I going to have any problem at airport? because I want to keep my contract and I want to pay monthly

If you have a post-paid connection, you could change it to pre-paid and with regular top-ups, your same number will continue to remain active.

However, you may not choose to use the phone for making or receiving calls since the roaming rate would be prohibitively expensive to sustain on any long-term basis.

However,  you could use the same number for making free voice and video calls through the many online apps that are easily available like WhatsApp, Google Duo, facebook Messenger, IMO, et al.

But I want to keep it and I want to continue pay monthly even I’m not here, is that possible? Do have to cancel contract ? Are they going to see that I have contract at airport

How do you intend to pay your instalment sum every month, when you are not in the country ? If you give the service provider post-dated cheques, then your bank account must be kept active - which will not be possible, if you exit the country for good.

The only possible option would be for you to pay the entire amount before leaving.

Better would be for you to ask your service provider what is the norm in such cases and how to resolve this issue.

A company employee left oman on emergency  vacation after completing his 3 month joining period. After 5 days he reach at home submitted his resignation letter due to some family problems.
Please advise what are the procedure for his visa cancellation and to apply for a new visa.

what if an employee resign from his country, if he has valid oman visa?. The employer can apply for a new visa in his place to fill that vacancy.

Pls advice, Friend of mine came to Oman in job offer from India with 300 basic salary which was offer to him on the companies letter head, However wen he got his first month salary tat was only 150 RO.

He checked his salary in the official Manpower web portal, it's only 150..wat is the solution for this..

If your friend has a signed contract letter with OMR 300 as a basic wage, he has the right to register a complaint at the ministry of manpower against his employer. However, if the contract letter is a draft and not signed, then ask your friend to be thankful to at least receive a salary as this is a bloody way how local employers fool the innocent people like him.

Hello sir anybody can guide me i form Pakistan my visa  and employment  card had expired in October 18 2018.when my visa had expired i told to my boss about it but he ignored now i want to go back but i still have no  visa also i request to my boss but he again ignoring me i want to go cancel now plz tell me how much need to pay fine for cancel.and what the legal way my boss pay my fine because in this period i give my all service honestly.

Else, please go straight to the Pakistani Embassy and report your case to the Embassy officials there.

They will help you exit peacefully, without getting yourself into any problems.

hello i have a contra of work of 1.5 years, my employer does not give me any salary to mention on contra agreed after 5 months he reduced my salary by half and told me that I would have the rest later because his money and invested in the projects and now that I ask him my salary rights after 11 months he asks me to make him a request for conceled so that I return to my country before my contra se finished he remains 7 months. he has the right! or what should I do! or where should I complain I am in Salalah

Your current sponsor is the one through whom your visa has been processed.  The sponsors, unfortunately, hold the right to ask the employee to return the amounts against his expenses that are being spent to bring them to the country if the employee decides to leave before the end of the contract.   Mostly, the small scale employers or individuals do these unethical tactics, however, there's no law that can secure your rights in this regard.

Your fiancee may apply for a visa provided all your documents are inline. It doesn't matter which country you're residing in.

While cancellation of visa is clear, I would like to know if employment visa is cancelled and the expat returns back to his country, and if he wants to return on a tourist visa, does he still need the NOC from the previous employer? While this is needed for another employment or family visa, is it needed for a tourist visa?

Thanks so much sumitran, and every one that do help with replying our questions, you guys are so helpful, I have viewed how you always replied all questions, I pray God help you and protect you in all you do, am mary from Nigeria working in oman for 11months now, I want to go back to my country, you know as usual they are asking for refund, and I dont trust the ROP, one because they will probably support their citizen, I mean a Muslim like them or let me say someone that speaks the same language as them, two I have heard cases of housemaid being killed or beaten because because they want to cancel, and three two of my boss children works in ROP. do you really think the police will help me? I dont really have a case with my boss I just want to go back cause really cant cope again, I pray I don't end up dying here, at least they will be happy to send my corpse home than myself,  am really depressed here I just cant cope any longer, it's just as if someone is in prison, to make the matter worse there's no Nigerian embassy here in oman, it's so sad,

I have following questions regarding Visa Cancellation.

1. If someone cancel his/her Visa and leave Sultanate, when he got his new visa from different Sponsor to come back for new Job/work.

2. If someone leave country without Visa cancellation and his Visa is Canceled before the he left Sultanate, then is there any chance he got new visa and do work in Sultanate again?

3. If someone doing work without renewal of visa in Sultanate, what will be the charges against him either police and send him back to his country and when he got chance to get new Visa and than again come back for job in Sultanate?

Please answer my all these questions as soon as possible.

The support may visit any composing office enrolled by GDRFA in the individual emirate. Through the same situation I was going through. Now they are not cancelling visa and they were telling if they cancel my visa I will be coming under another sponsor. Strange people. At last I came back to India without cancelling visa on last December. My passport was with them and I was not able to do anything. I don't know whether I can go after the 2 year bann is lifted. In any case now a days you should ask for cancellation as well as NOC because many people facing problem due to not having NOC.
