Hi Everyone,

25 year single lad from India Mumbai here. I've been working with some of the leading travel companies in India Mumbai and have total work experience of 3+ years as a travel consultant. I've been offered a job as travel consultant with Al Tayyar (In Riyadth) with a salary of SAR3000 + SAR600 Performance Incentives + Accommodation.

Kindly let me know weather this Salary would be sufficient to live a good life ( not Lavishing ) along with some savings for a bachelor like me. Also advise what are the things that I need to check before I come to Saudi.  I'm a Complete Vegetarian so would that make any difference as food and travelling allowance is not provided by my employer.

Do let me know if the company has a good reputation, as i did my homework the avrg salary for a travel consultant in Saudi SAR4729. please advise.

Cheers !

I don't know how you can make your ends meet with 3K SR.

A hotel help like resturant host etc....get abt 1500-1800K here ... with 3K u wud just meet ur monthly expenses and little saving ....
and going by ur language ,choice of words and tht u r in mumbai , i advice  even with 10K salary don't move here... the lifestyle is very conservative, no place to hang out or chill except malls and coffe shops and off course no unrelated public mix gatherings atall....

Blr good day to you,

My opinion and advise is different. I keep meeting young people from Indo-Pak who tell me story of their success in Saudi Arabia. They tell me how they came on a laborer visa at a salary of SR 1800 a few years ago, how they worked hard, improved upon their skills and today they are making a good amount of money and above all they are enjoying what they are doing.

My suggestion is that you must proceed to Saudi Arabia with a positive mind, pray to God that he gives expansion and barakah  بركه in  your earnings and  brings happiness to your family.

Thank you for replying man!

If the labours are given SAR1800 than as a travel consultant is being paid SAR3000?

could you tell me anything about al tayyar as an organisation ?

Thanks

I would advice you to come to Saudi. Once you are here and  have sufficient experience in hand, you can find another job and can move ahead. 3k with family is not enough but i know people who have spent their lives with Families in 5K , if not lucratively but a respectably. Also subject to job conditions in Indo- Pak its better that you avail this opportunity.

Living in Riyadh is pretty cheap. You can share apt with your fellow nationalities check expatriates.com, I'm a vegetarian too, you can find lots of cheap and cheerful Indian restaurant I would eat badha and dal for 6Sar, you can find room rent for 500-850SR that is flat sharing. If you cook then it's even better.

Cheers,
Pao
