Well actually, there is only one kinda weather throughout t year, esp if you stay in Floreal/Curepipe/quatrebones-- RAIN!!!
it does rain a lot throughout t year, hence t many rainbows around here! But overall very pleasant n extremes of 32C to 12C!
for t real info check out Arlette's link!
also the Wikipedia link on Mauritius mentions the weather http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauritius

Hope u love t weather wen u do land up here!!
I Have been blissfully loving it all this while!!

Ah, now, Floréal is not that BAD, not as bad as Curepipe... the good thing about Mauritius is that if it is raining where you are, just look out to the sky and if you spot a piece of blue sky somewhere, you just drive 20min  towards where the blue sky is and voila, your rainy day turns into a sunny day..:)

just fix a small umbrella at the back of your car seat, and you're great to access any parts, any weather in here.

occasionally storms means 3-5 days of heavy rainfall, with gusts of winds at peak of 200 km/h; but we haven't see a pretty one since some 3 years :P

The islander.

Hello Kaybee,
How are you? You didn't go out to see the whales with the rest of our friends?
Cheers from Dubai

No, sadly not Arlette, I logged on too late :(  We would have loved that trip. It'll teach me to log on more often!  I hope you and your daughter have settled nicely in Dubai again.

in the north like Grand Bay it's almost always sunny

NadsMeister

In the west (Beau Bassin, Port Louis, Flic En Flac, Tamarin), it's also almost always sunny, about 27°C as an average. And at Curepipe, which is found in the higher region of Mauritius, it is relatively cold for us, about 12°C in WINTER, but in summer, it's around the 20s °C.

Cloudy and 6 degrees here today. 6 inches of snow forecast in some areas. Hurrah! :D
