Hi there! My family (me, husband and 2 kids) are moving to Canberra next year on a state sponsorship 190 visa.

We're going there on holiday (and to activate our visas) in August and are trying to plan exactly what it is that we need do, see, and organise. Our problem really is knowing where to start and it would be great to get some advice from people who have already made the move!

So is there anyone out there who would be happy to answer a few questions for us.....?! I hope so! :-)

Many thanks,
Natalie.

Hey Natalie,

I grew up in Canberra. Can I help?
It's a beautiful city. One of the best 'cities' in the world in my opinion although expensive. Some people say it's boring because it is so small compared to Sydney and Melbourne. Population of Canberra is about 350,000 (nothing) so it's like a big country town. So pretty, calm, peaceful and an amazing place to raise a family.
I live in Newcastle now, although Canberra will always be part of me.

Anything specific?

Ciao

Hello,

Feel free to ask me in any sorts of queries. I suggest you to first visit the Western park in Canberra you will find it more beautiful.
