Can u tell me what is the meaning of NOC here in New rule two year ban. My Owner is ready to give me NOC. but not ready give me Local Release. so Can i go cancel and come for other company . What Supporting document require with NOC is i can come back in Oman.

Hi ashu225,

No Objection Certificate (NoC) and Local Release are both one and the same.

When a NoC is given by the employer, he is officially releasing you from his sponsorship commitments and is giving you the local release required to join another sponsor.

I have also replied to one of your earlier posts about your sticky situation.

Your employer has utilised this new 2-year waiting period rule to his total advantage and has sabotaged all your chances of joining another employer, locally.

So now shifting jobs within Oman is not possible for you unless you leave the Sultanate before midnight today which is just about 6-odd hours away.

NOC means national occupational clsrification , this the clearance that must be sign and approved by your embassy in which nationality you are , your embassy are the one to sign- m 6 six volunteer in our embassy hre n oman and this is my work take the NOC files
