Where can I meet some expats?

I have been living in Riyadh for three months now and visited La bistro restaurant in one of the compounds to go for a swim or watch some sport. The problem is you need a invitation every time...is there any other place or way to be invited to a party or to get to meet new people in Riyadh? ?

there is! like diplomatic quarters! no invitation required in diplomatic quarters. while some are just roaming around in the malls.

Hi Peter, welcome to Riyadh, have you registered with your embassy, where are you living, there is football groups here or you have the GAA but lots of people join this, we are an Irish couple been here for a while, we play cards most Thursday nights u would be more than welcome to come an meet some people or join in
