Maximum Limit to stay out of Bahrain ?

What's the ruling for staying out of Bahrain ? For someone not employed ?
Some countries have a limit for maximum time a resident can stay out of the country !
Its for those employed and working in Bahrain , but what about for those on "investor visas" and "retiree visa" and holding permanent residency ?

Self-sponsorship is for investors, home owners and retired people and none of these really need to be be under a compulsory residence period here. They are free to travel out and return as they wish. The only thing needed to re-enter is a valid residence permit and visa.

One more thing , the self sponsored residence permits , is it 5 years ? or just 2 year permits ?
