How to search forum for topics previously discussed?

Is there a search function to search for a topic that has been previously discussed.

E.g., I wanted to ship a package to the US and am looking for the best way. I am sure others have had this question before and the topic has been discussed in this forum. Can I search for that discussion instead of starting a new blog??

Hi JD, welcome to the forum and thanks for being so considerate

I've been a member here for almost a year and (this is ironic) ... you, the one who WANTS to find a thread, are asking about something that--to my knowledge--has never been discussed!

I've never sent anything home (well, wait .. I sent a letter from the post office that took 3 weeks to arrive in FL) but I'm sure others here can advise you.

Thanks for responding.

Let me tell you a funny story about the post office. Last year my kids mailed me a Fathers Day card which I never received. A couple of months later when incidentally I was back home, the card was delivered back to the sender with a rubber stamp saying "Addressee Deceased." Well, one thing is for sure - I was glad I was back home in person so there were no doubts.
