Hi Kenjee

Thanks for the reply.

I have had a look at the cost of living section and think we'll be ok, however there is not much point in relocating to only survive?

Hopefully I'll get some more feedback to consider.

Thanks again

AJ

My monthly expenses food, Fuel, Car lease, entertainment, Water, AC, Electricity, Phone, Internet, TV and mobile come to about 12-15k AED a month. Your biggest expense will be accommodation. Because the rent is normally in up front payment in the form of a single payment for the years rent or two payments.

The amount you pay in rent will also affect the amount you pay in services.

AJ Curtiss

Hi Martin

Thanks for the info. I presume the 12-15k you mentioned is for yourself only?

Martin Fin

Yes however there won't be Hugh differences

My bills split down
Electricity 54.15 AED
Water 52.59 AED
Sewerage 6.17 AED
Housing Fee 833.33 AED This is 10% of your rent divided by 12 my apartment costs 200K a year paid in advance one cheque.

My TV Internet and Phone about 600 AED ( it is about to go up next month)

Cooling EMPOWER
Consumption 27.46 AED
Demand Charges 623.84 AED

Car lease I have a Nisan Pathfinder PF 3 on a 2 year lease 4000 AED + SALIK

Food for me about 600-1000 AED per week

The rest is my choice to spend some is also setup costs vac, bed linen etc

Hope that helps
