Looking for high school age friends

I'm no high schooler myself!  But my daughter is. She's 17
and just returned from a school conference in Hong Kong.
She's half- Japanese, half-Canadian (I'm Canadian). I've been to Singapore many
times on vacations and really like it there. I want to take my daughter likely in February or March. Slight possibility next month, but probably she'll be busy studying for some exams.
I know she'd like to meet some girls her age there. I'm afraid she'd be bored with me only.
Does anyone know some way she could meet? She would love to meet girls her age to shop with, eat delicious hawker food and see life among SIngapore people. Any nationalities are great.
Thanks very much.

Harper

Hi, i'm 16 this year. Perhaps i could hang out with your daughter?

Hi Harper
Thanks for writing.
Can you give a little information about yourself that I can pass on to Amy? Then she can write you herself.
Where is Toa Payoh? Is it near to Bugis area where we might stay?
Thank you for writing!

Ah, you take mrt from city hall and then you can reach Toa Payoh, it's not very far. I am currently studying in a secondary school, might be going to polytechnic or work next year. I have been to Japan before and quite like it there. I like baking. Does she have any hobbies?

Hi Harper
Thanks. Sure I hope she can meet you.
Do you want to email us?
Also do you have Facebook? Maybe she can contact you that way.
Are you a girl and are you from Singapore?

Harper

Sure, i could email you. I'm sorry i don't have a facebook account anymore, but my sister do have it. You could give me her link and i will take a look. I am a girl and i am from Singapore.

Harper
Hi. Yes, please email. I'll tell Amy about you. She's preparing for exams now. Yeah, summer homework for tests in September! That's why I think an August holiday is unlikely. Do you and your friends like Singapore much?

Harper

What's your email address? I am preparing for the prelims and government exam this coming spetember and october too. Apart from the convenient transport system and things are available here, i preferred other countries like Japan. I think the people there lived happier than around here.

Hi Harper
My email is casablanca@y2.dion.ne.jp
Looking forward to email from Singapore.
Thanks.

Hi Harper and everybody else too!
Write or email me anytime and tell me what you like about (or don't like about) Singapore.
I live in Kyoto with my Japanese wife and 17-year-old daughter.
Kyoto's a nice city and the people are very polite. But there's a sameness about Japan that gets boring after a while and you have to get out for breaks.
When I'm in Singapore, I'm so impressed by the exotic colors and foods. It's like a city in the middle of a tropical forest. And with many sophisticated buildings and museums.
I want my dughter to enjoy Singapore as I do.
Look forward to your posts or emails. Thank you!

Hi
Nothing against her meeting girls and boys together as a group. Not trying to set up a dating situation though.
Thanks for writing.
