For you to be able to apply for a permit here in Botswana, is either you have employment offer letter, or student admissions or being a dependant of a resident. You must first get employment before you can apply for the permit but you can come as a visitor to see how things are here, when you enter you are entitled to 90 days and you not allowed to work till you get work permits and you are to leave the country just before your 90 days expires unles you get a job offer, you can apply for permits and temporary work permits to cover you whilst you waiting for outcome of the long term permits.
