Hi,
Anyone with input on the following matter please :

I went to the Home Affairs in Springs to apply for an ID, as I received my PRP.
Only to be told by the official that before I may apply for the ID, my PRP should be  verified first. They took a copy of my PRP, which they sent to the Head office in Pretoria to be verified, and the said that this could take two weeks only.
Now its two months and they are still telling me that the head office has not yet send back the verified PRP to them , so  I can not apply for an ID.

When I asked them, who coud I contact in order to make a follow up, they keep telling me that they don't have their telephone number, they just  send faxes.

Has any body gone through the process yet? advise please

Yes, it is what they do, they take forever. You will get everything back - it will take a maximum of four months, from what we see in the market.
