Hello!

I'm currently studying and living in Turku, Finland but I am originally from Sweden. My education is a distance-learning from a swedish university which unfortunately means I don't get to meet any students here. I don't have a single friend in Turku and I miss hanging out with nice people!!! Can you please give me some tips on how to make new friends in Finland?

One nice tip is to participate in our Networking in Finland section of the forum so as to increase your chances to meet other expats who, like you, are seeking friendship in a new country.

Hi,

You should try to join students party and events. I can recommend some groups to you on facebook. Just search for : "erasmus turku " for example. Or "couchsurfing Turku" etc.

You can give me a call some time: xxx to hang out.
