The only bad thing about jakarta is just the traffic, you just have to deal with it..and everything else will be great.

And yess, skye is nice... Near Kempinski, in BCA tower 56th floor.

Yes, you should try SKYE, first time i went there and loved the view.

Skye is OK, there is also Cloud in the top of Plaza tower (Plaz Indonesia mall) which has a better bar

There is a nightclub called Immigrant in the 6th floor of Plaza Indo, just reopened, nice place but the music seems better after 1

Otherwise if you want to get in a cab, there are lots of places within 15 minutes (at night) depending on what kind of nightlife you are looking for. Jakarta is full of clubs and bars, malls and restaurants...
