Activity group for socialising

Post new topic

Joanna1984

Hello,

I am looking to start a business along the Costa del Sol involving activities to provide ways for expats to find like minded friends. Since moving out here I have found it difficult to meet people and then I started thinking that I can't be the only person, there must be others in the same boat!

I'd love to know what you all think about it and if you have any suggestions about events or activities I could promote. I want this to be a way for me to earn some money so I would charge a small fee for singing up or attending an event. So far I have thought of things like cocktail making classes, pub quizzes, speed dating, baking, tea/coffee mornings etc.

I'm trying to do my market research at the moment and would appreciate your help!

Thanks in advance.

Jo

Hello all

@ Jo  :I think your idea is great! Since you are on the spot out there, only you can say if you will find interested people to adhere to your events.

Baking, Pub quizzes, Speed dating will definitely work! All you need is a solid marketing strategy behind to reach out to people.

Wish you luck in your venture!  :top:

Just for info, adverts of such events will not be authorised on the forum.

Best regards
