How long must foreigner wait for visa.

Dear members i need some help pls.

I am gonna teach in Cairo very soon but i need a visa. The school which i am gonna teach applied for me for one.Does anyone perhaps know how long must i wait on my visa?

Hope someone can help me pls.Because here in Cape - Town is no Egyptian Embassy.

Mr. Egypt i am staying in Cape Town, Western - Cape here is no Egyptian Embassy but only in Pretoria..And its very far from me.But the school in Cairo will sort me out with a visa, i just wanna know how long does it take to get one plsssss
