Marsascala, Zonqor point  - nice , no crowd, 20 min on the car to Slima or 40-60 min  on the bus

I wasn't going to comment further but this may have wider interest:

Taken all these into account: population density in Sliema is likely to be 10-20 times that of Madeira!

That was an opinion only but I saw this today:

"......Malta is the country with the highest population density in the EU, with a population density average of 1325 persons per sq. km. compared to the EU average 117 persons per sq. km. In the northern harbour area density shoots up to 5,015 persons per sq. km. "

This suggests density of Sliema is over 16 times that of Madeira!
