Websites to rent apartment

Post new topic

Was looking for the most commons website to find an apartment but they have almost the same ads.

Here are the ones I usually check:

clasificadosonline.com/
clasificadospr.com/
buyorrentpr.com/
compraoalquila.com.pr/

Any other to add?

Thanks for posting these!  I've been looking around and haven't found much.  That buyorrentpr is great!

Many websites only have nightly/weekly rentals so it is hard to find long term renting.

let me add another one i found it amazing!!!

zillow.com

It gives you a maps with places to rent and purchase AND prices! Not much option though....

They also have a relocation services agency.  The contact number is 787 783 4875.  We are moving there in January 2015 and have already located an apartment in Old San Juan.  We have checked various companies, etc.  It was a bit scary at first but we got through it.  We used clasificadosonline.com/ and found our apartment through Tomas at Rockstar Realtors.

I think clasificadosonline.com and clasificadospr.com are the best so far, but I also found:

encuentra24.com/puerto-rico-es/clasificados

It does have a map function but it only shows like 6 places at time when you do it that way.
Zillow.com is the easiest for me because it is in English and has map search capability, but the options are limited.

* Also, I've been running into a lot of scam posts. They are usually a great apartment in a great neighborhood with just an British sounding name as the contact (no number).  I've also been finding new listings that have legit phone numbers, but when you call you get fax sound. After a google search, somebody had listed the fax for a car rental company on the island. Just something to look out for.
