Dear members,
I have just resisted in the Expat.com few days ago, and now i would like to know how is life in Canada.
Are the people there are friendly?
How is the human safety?
How do the Canadian treat expat like?
Have a nice day.
Kind regards

Hi !
I have been living in Canada for 6 years. Answering your questions:
>Are the people there are friendly?
They are not friendly, but polite. This is lifestyle - to smile etc.
>How is the human safety?
Very safety. There are a lot of cameras and "Big brother" control everything. No freedom.
>How do the Canadian treat expat like?
All "Canadians",except Indian aboriginals,are expats.
I live in Calgary (West). This is the most racist area in Calgary. "White" Canadians don't like newcomers actually, but don't say in face (only if they are drunk). It's easier to live in multucultural cities - Toronto,Montreal or Vancouver. People in small towns don't like expats. But they will never say it to you.If you are looking for a job, local person would get it,not you.
