Mauritius - Few points to consider when coming for visit or stay.

JOBS - Some interesting sites exist ( Can I post here please expat mods??, thanks )
Family -  it really depends on your way of life. We can live easily here for as much as 1000 Pound/Euros per month excluding the rent fees...which can be very high or low, depending on 'contacts'.

Health Services - are free in the public hospital but you could also have more 'privacy' and 'intimacy' in private clinics ( good reputation and service as far as I know).

Health Insurance - There are several institutions which provide quality health insurance products too (sorry here I am no expert :) ) Mauritius can be very cheap compared to Europe for the food, life style etc.

It is really a cool and peaceful region and can be very enjoyable.

As a word of advice, it's always good to have some vaccine shots although it is not required to do so when coming to Mauritius, but I did (and I am Mauritian!) before coming back from abroad after 4 years.

Hope these help folks!

Enjoy your holidays!  :)
