NEW FRIENDS!!!!!

Post new topic

G200

Hey everyone I'm moving to Bahrain early December looking to meet new people and make new friends. I enjoy travelling, sports, movies, gym, dining out and just generally socialising. Hope to hear from you.

Welcome to you (in a few short weeks)!

You will find all that you are looking for.  Trips out to eat and brunch, days at the rugby club will be going on all the time.  Once you know where you live and get settled in you will be able to find your groove quickly I hope!

Welcome again!

Joining one of the expat clubs is a great way to make friends. I made all mine here by organising the first expat-blog gathering where nearly 60 people came. That was 2 years ago now and we are all good friends still (well most of us lol)

Keep an eye on the forum for functions, joining a gym will get you mates too. Bahrain is very, very friendly so don't worry.
If you still haven't met people after a while PM me and I will organise one of my dinner parties or BBQ's and invite everyone so you will be fine :-)

That's great thanks for the message, which is a good gym to join? I will be living 2 mins away from JJ's Irish bar in Manama.

I think you should just throw a party anyway :)

Too busy at the moment as just had a party but go along to the British club near you as it's always full. JJ's etc is too obviously.

I don't live in that area but the Brit club has a gym too as do most hotels (if you are a millionaire)

Just google gyms (or fitness) Bahrain and see what comes up. I do have a word doc on it but no clue how to post that on here

Not sure if this link to my gym word document will work but give it a try HERE

Hey,

I am already here and am starting to get out there and meet new people. I am always up for going out and having a laugh, so let me know. 😄

Drop us a note when you are here and I am sure there will be some of us interested in meeting up.

Best wishes

I drop into the rugby club quite regularly. Now we have no reason not to meet, especially given that we live in the same neighbourhood too!

I always have grandiose plans of going out and being social...and then I sit down, click on a documentary and all that flies out the window.  I am so weak when it comes to documentaries!
