Awaiting Work Visa

Hello, am Max, a construction professional currently in Nigeria, I got a job offer (my air fair inclusive) as a Construction Engineer from a company in Qatar since October which I accepted and up till now am yet to get the work visa. I email the company last month to make enquiries, was told it's still in process, please how long does it take for a work visa to come out? Is there anything else I need to do to fast track it?Thanks.
