Hello Expats,

I got a very interesting job offer in Guangzhou and after a few further disucssions I may take the step. However, I am quite concerned about the limited access of information in the internet. How bad is that issue really? How about using Facebook etc.? Anyone experiences with that?

Hi,

you can easily jump the wall.
There are two main ways, one is get something like Astill.
I used for long time but it's really annoying because you have to keep looking for available server. From time to time the authority block the IP address.
The other options is use something like Konnect that comes with its own router and works quite well. I moved from Astrill to Konnect two weeks ago and I'm quite happy about the service.
Hope can help.
