HI there.  My brother is an experienced drug/alcohol counselor, he currently works at a state facility in Texas.  How would he apply for a position?  Thanks.  JD

Again be very careful,  you need to hire those who are legal here,  the process is time consuming but not difficult to do.  Once someone has applied for  residencia they are legal to work.

Hello JDM22,
I am the clinical director of the center, your brother can send me his C.V. to this email if he is interested .

Thank you for your interest

Thanks Claude, I just sent you an email through your website and gave you my direct email address.

Planner, If you are legal to work, once you "apply" for a residencia, can you do the application process in one day by going through an expert attorney?

JDM222

Nice talking to you Claude.  I think your facility will do fantastic!

Hi claude,

This is to inform you that we advise the members to post their job offers in the Jobs in Dominican Republic section, as the forum has been created for debates on Expatriation.

Therefore i invite you to repost this job offer in the recommended section above.

Thank you

Priscilla

I thought this particular blog link was for all matters, concerning the North Coast, whether it be related to shipping stuff, housing, "a day in the life", tips on this and that, and jobs.  I for one, am happy to see specific job opportunities on the North Coast listed here, because I'm not interested in jobs in the other 95% of Dominican Republic, so it keeps me from wasting valuable time going through all jobs in the Dominican Republic.  Just my thoughts.

Maybe we should start a topic on jobs, it would be easier than sifting through the classifieds section and we will be updated when a new job offer gets posted, also my humble opinion. Not everyone is looking for a job, but perhaps know someone who is and might be able to reccomend that job offer to a non blog member etc. If you are not looking for a job, you would most likely not look at the classifieds section. Thanks.

Let's respect the rules of the forum and website.....

Cannot be done in one day. Meet with lawyer, prep documents, go to capital and deposit.....go do lab test, Cray. Then you will be given file number, then you can work...

Peter I have asked to have your phone number removed from the post. Its not a good idea to put personal contact info on the forum. YOu can always private message him.

Hi
I have no formal training but have 23 years of personal recovery to offer. I did attend a few months at Conestoga College until poor health force my dropping out of the addiction councilling course. Spent many years in meetings of AA and NA. I think I might be able to offer some good efforts to those trying to get clean. Just picking up some Spanish now.
