My wife, two girls and myself are relocating to Barcelona.
Wanted to get some help on how to locate an affordable place to live. Or even some good tips where to hang out would be greatly appreciated. Glad this site exists!

When are you planning to relocate here?

How old are your girls, and will they be going to local state schools or are they going to International schools. All of the international schools are out of the centre, and you might want to bear that in mind when you are thinking about where to live.

Our daughter is almost 6 and we have just moved to Barcelona - she is desperate for friends as it has been school holidays since we got here and it is tricky to find anyone to play with.

What does "affordable" place to live mean? Barcelona isn't cheap for accomodation at all, but there are some lovely places around, do you prefer to be right in the centre or out of town a bit.
