Hi, could someone please assist I am not familiar with the schooling grades so have no idea what ages Kindergarten vs Year 1 - 6 are - I have a 4 and 2 year old.

They currently attend private schools in South Africa which is of a good quality due the extremely high cost of schooling in South Africa but I am extremely concerned with the moving over to the Maltase system and not being placed in a similar learning environment. In South Africa in order to gain access to good schools you have to register your child upon birth or you just wont get a place. How does placement work in Malta at english speaking schools? I am worried if we come over in December 2015 we wont find placement for my kids.

Anyone know of English speaking schools in Sliema for my kids?

Appreciate any advice -
