Hello Everyone,

My Name is Ashar.

I am currently living in Dubai & recently have got a job in Oman.

My concerns are that if you can help me with the exact docs that I need to send my Omani employer, please note tat I have already sent . So now what other documents do I need to send them?

Also since I am in Dubai, can I travel by Road?

Hi ashardeed,

You must post this query to your employer since only they would know what are the documents which you have already sent and what other documents are required.

You cannot travel by road as your employer would have to deposit your employment visa at the border - which they would not. Also since you would be entitled to fly-in as all expatriate employees are, they would only deposit your employment visa at the airport.

Hello everyone, i am curremtly working in muscat my visa is under the company , i renewed my visa last oct.2014,but my husband wanted to apply a husband visa for me,may i know if possible? Pls i need your openion what will we gonna do if the management can‘t give me release they have any option?thanks!

What do u mean by "Husband Visa" ? I assume its a family joining visa you're talking about.

For that, you need to cancel your work visa (Leave your current job) and then your husband may apply a family joining, provided if he meets the issuance criteria. Be informed that it is illegal to work for any employer without a valid work visa.

Thanks for replying message,yes i know the family visa not allowed to work but i mean is if the employer will not give me release what will i do,i need your openion i i have right to leave,my visa.is inder the company now,and i am working with them as office maid,and house maid.in direct word i want to leave pls give advice thanks.
