Can we buy health insurance in the Netherlands?

Post new topic

My wife & I will be retiring to the Netherlands, but will not be "permanent" residents. We will own our own home there. Can we still buy health insurance in the Netherlands to cover us for things that may occur while living there?

Hello wdoscher and welcome on board Expat.com

Do you know in which part of Netherlands you will be?

We will be moving to Amsterdam.

Yes you can. In matter of fact, you are required to have a Dutch insurance as long as you live or work here. If you need any help, send me a PM.
