Hi

Am a 35 years old, married with no kids and am looking to move to Shizuoka to settle down for an extended period. Visited Shizuoka twice (and many other parts of Japan) and completely love the place!

Is there any work opportunities for me with the following experience:

1) Accounting and finance
2) Senior management role experienced with business merger and acquisitions
3) Expert in internet businesses mainly relating to classifieds, e-commerce and advertising

Typically my skill sets would be suited for financial hubs such as Tokyo or Osaka, but am looking for a more relaxed environment. Willing to try any new work experience including services, F&B.

Edit: Just started learning some basic Japanese but will for sure ramp up my proficiency!

Anyone got some leads or can help point to the right direction?

I think it is very difficult for you to get a job at Shizuoka without a skill of Japanese language.
But some English speaker can work as English teacher in Japan, so you might get a job as a teacher of English school even at Shizuoka.
If you want to get another job, you should learn more Japanese language and get N1 or at least N2 of the following test.
