Thank you for these information !

Just for general guidance on this topic: prices for everything are higher on the coasts in the U.S. I see California has already weighed in and the East Coast is just as bad in some parts (by bad, I mean expensive).

In the Lehigh Valley, if age 65 or older, one can ride the public buses any time for free!!
In addition, a round trip ride from Allentown to 42nd Street in NYC only costs $26 for those 62 and older.
Everything else is expensive.

I am relocating to Louisiana. Anyone from that area that wants to update?

phornixx

Hi all anyone have any prices for Chicago area, suburbs maybe? family of 5.

Thank you

Bob K

Chicago will be about the same as the prices above for New York and the West coast.  Remember those listing above are for individuals not families of 5  so multiply that factor in.

Hallo Femke,
I am new to this site and was curious if your status remains the same. Have you moved to Louisiana yet? If you are still in need of this information, please let me know. I live in New Orleans, LA and have been here for many years. Would love to know if you made it to the states!
