-@Ayesha Janjua
If you are currently in Brazil, you can complete your application here:
https://www.gov.br/pt-br/servicos/obter … migratorio
The documents you'll need to provide appear in this list:
https://www.gov.br/pf/pt-br/assuntos/im … o-familiar
After you complete the online application, you'll have the opportunity to set up an appointment.
If you are not currently in Brazil, you should apply for a VITEM XI visa at the nearest Brazilian Consulate.
We will be applying for our permanent residency after our baby is born. We don’t speak any Portuguese. Will we need to hire a translator to go with us?

It would probably be a good idea. The professionals who will be working with you as you prepare for the birth may be one good source for a trustworthy referral.
Meanwhile, I'd strongly recommend learning some basic conversational Portuguese with an app like Duolingo so that you'll arrive with enough vocabulary to at least address your most basic needs.

Good afternoon, You have a number of misunderstandings, but you've come to the right place to clarify them.
First, your child if born in Brazil will qualify for a Brazilian passport. You and your wife will not, although as parents of a Brazilian citizen, you and she will qualify for permanent residency. Your nationality will not change, however, and any travel that the two of you do will have to be on the passports of your country of citizenship.
Second, you and your wife should register your child together with the Brazilian authorities as soon as possible after your child's birth. The documents that you'll need appear here, and you should bring them with you from your country of citizenship and/or current residence:
https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1058675
Third, at least your wife, and if at all possible you, too, should apply for Brazilian residency as soon as possible after registering your child. The documents that you will need appear here, and again, you should bring them with you when you come to Brazil, because some of them will be impossible to arrange to receive from abroad:
https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1058676
Finally, if your sister has a valid tourist visa for Brazil she can come and help your wife for the duration of her visa, but adult siblings or aunts are NOT eligible for residency in Brazil under family unification, and she will have to return to her home country at the expiration of her visa. So you will need to make sure that your arrangements to support your wife and child in Brazil are in place well before your sister leaves, because she will not be permitted to remain legally.

Ok thanks a lot for information but after getting resident of Brazil then me and my wife will get passport after 1 year if we stay there for 1 year? Because many says if u have child which born there then u will also get passport after 1 years if u stay there and give language test then.

Technically, that is correct. But since you and your wife will be arriving as tourists, your "one year of residence" does NOT start with your arrival in Brazil. It starts with the approval of your permanent residency, which only takes place after your child is registered, after you apply for permanent residency following your child's birth, and after your permanent residency is approved. That could be as little as one month after you apply, or as much as a year, depending on the quality of your documentation, and what the backlog of the Polícia Federal looks like at the time you apply. Which is why bringing the correct documents with you is so very important. And once the year starts, the applicant has to justify every absence from the country, and being absent for more than three months will probably break continuity, requiring the applicant to start over again.
Also, the language requirement is very demanding. It's not just the basic conversation that a foreigner may be able to pick up in day to day life, it requires study. Brazil doesn't feel any need to make it easy, because unlike many countries, Brazil will let you live here as a permanent resident indefinitely and never pressure you to become a citizen. When I took the test, which lasts either for one entire day or over parts of two consecutive days, close to 10,000 people took it with me worldwide, and only about 6,000 passed. It requires the applicant to be able to speak, understand, read, and write compositions in Portuguese at about the level of a Brazilian high school graduate.
1. Ok thanks a lot but I have a question that it will take 1 month to 1 year to get resident visa can we go back to home country till we get resident visa or no?
2.And we can stay 1 year in Brazil even if we come back after 5 years still we will can start our 1 year time to get passport .
3. And how much would it will cost us to stay there for a year maximum like rent and electricity and water and food.
4. And in Brazil I hear that it's free child birth for all even visitors also so what is process for it .
04/13/24 @Ishaque1. 1. It's not a good idea to go back to your country of origin while you have an application for permanent residency pending.
2 . After you achieve permanent residency, you can stay out of Brazil for up to two years without losing it. Returning for just a day is enough, but if you're out of Brazil for more than two years, you will probably lose your permanent residency. As long as you keep your permanent residency, you can stay for a year at any point and qualify for citizenship, IF you can meet the language requirement.
3 . As for cost of living, that depends on where you want to live. I'd suggest starting your research at numbeo.com.
4 . Free maternity care for birth tourism is a sensitive topic in Brazil. Yes, in most parts of the country you'll be able to obtain free care at a public maternity for the actual birth, even as a tourist. Whether you'll also be able to get free pre-natal care is another question, and I don't have a general answer for it. You better have the funds to pay for at least some private care if you need it.
1.Ok thanks Because if it will take 1 year to get resident visa then it will be hard for me to handle because of money like rent and other cost because if my wife will get resident visa within 1 month then she can stay there for a year I will pay for all cost.
2. But I cant stay there in residence for for now because I have to work and do this payment for my wife because I have job in Dubai if I will come I can't stay there more then 2 months so what should I do as u said that ones 2 years residency finish then I will not get passport so what option for me .
3. How will be test do u have any sample and how much mark paper will be it and how much we should get marks on it.
Because in mind I keep cost of 80000k to 1 lakh of Dubai currency to support my wife and child there for 1 year so that why it's not possible for me to stay there for 1 year right now maybe in future I will stay when I will leave job and have money to stay there.
So kindly help me with it there is not any way for me .

You can apply for permanent residency and leave a Power of Attorney with your wife to pick your ID card up for you when it is ready. The Power of Attorney can be prepared by a cartório, a registry office. If there are no problems with your application, that should be possible. If there are problems, she will probably not be able to resolve them. Whatever happens with your residency applications, your child should not lose his/her citizenship as long as s/he is properly registered, so you can always try again.
88,000 dirhams/year is probably a pretty fair estimate of cost of living in most parts of Brazil. It's equal to the minimum income that Brazil requires to grant retirement visas to foreigners, USD$2,000/month. If she's careful, your wife and child should be able to live on that without too much trouble.

04/14/24 @Ishaque1. We need to be particularly clear on this: it does NOT take a year to get authorization for residency in Brazil: it can take as little as a month or so after your child is registered, if your paperwork is perfect and if there's no backlog at the Polícia Federal. There usually IS a backlog at the PF, however, and there's currently a problem with printing CRNMs -- Migrant Identity Cards -- in Brasília, so it's best to assume that there will be a couple of months of delay at least. And if you don't arrive in Brazil with all the documents you'll need, there's no telling how long the delay will be; if your paperwork is very deficient and can't be fixed, your application may even be rejected.
It's applying for naturalization, for Brazilian citizenship, that requires AT LEAST as uninterrupted year of residence as a legal resident before applying. These are two entirely different things.
You can never get a Brazilian passport without being naturalized as a Brazilian citizen, and you can't do that without at least one uninterrupted year in Brazil as a legal resident. You can, however, remain a legal resident of Brazil indefinitely without becoming a citizen and enter and leave the country at will, as long as you're not absent for more than two years at a time.
Incidentally, before applying for to be naturalized in Brazil, you and your wife should be sure to understand what effect becoming a Brazilian citizen will have, if any, on your current citizenship. Unless the law has changed recently for example, it's my understanding that Indian citizens automatically lose their Indian citizenship if they accept citizenship from another country; I don't know whether the situation in Pakistan or Bangladesh is similar.
The Portuguese language proficiency test is called CelpeBras. For a good description of the test, see this thread, especially Post #4; at the end of the post there's a link to tests from previous years that you can download, examine, and try to complete to see what taking the test is like:
Ok thanks a lot to help me with my question and Pakistan allow dual passport so no issue but there is issue for me that I can't stay in brizal for 1 year for my self only because I can't leave my job but my wife can get passport
But I have a question that if I don't go every 2 years my resident visa to stay even 1 day then it will finish my resident visa full or I can apply afterwards also like after I leave this job maybe like after 10 or 20 years can I start again to get new resident visa and stay for 1 years there.

If you are approved for residency after the birth of your child, then it's worth a brief visit to Brazil every two years to keep it in force. However, even if for some reason you allow it to lapse, your Brazilian child has the right to live with his/her parents in Brazil, so as long as your child lives in Brazil, or plans to, you can re-apply with a high probability of approval.
Ok you mean after age of 18 or 21 my child can sponsor me as resident visa anytime also if I don't go in Brazil ever now only my wife get passport and my child that's it right.

Your child can sponsor you then, but before as well. Let's say that you go through with your plan, your child is born, registered as a Brazilian citizen, gets a Brazilian passport, then you and your wife return to the UAE with the baby. Four years from now, you and your wife decide that you want to move to Brazil so that your child can start in Brazilian schools. You and your wife can apply for VITEM XI Family Unification visas and do that.
Your child will be able to return to Brazil anytime, and bring the parents along.
