Marriage tips that must know

Dear brothers and sisters,

Assalamualaikum.
If the groom and bride are from 2 different countries, they must consult their respective embassies before proceed marriage in Saudi Arabia.

Question:
1. May I know what's the reason and how?

I'm a malaysian and a brother from Pakistan has proposed to get marry in Saudi Arabia.  We are both working in Jeddah and riyadh. We are also planning to raise our kids at saudi  Arabia, meaning a long term stay in Saudi Arabia. While staying at Saudi Arabia, I may continue to work or restart to work after sometime. Looking at this condition, I'm seeking brothers and sisters true guidance.

Question:
2: What's the difference of transfer iqama and family visa?
3: what's the advantage and disadvantage of transfer iqama?
4; what's the benefits of family visa and its disadvantage?
