Hi everyone!

I will move to Hanoi on Feb. 28 for work.  I'm new to this beautiful city and would like to share a room.
Hoping to live with someone that has been in Hanoi for a few years.

About me: 40yrs old, Vietnamese American, professional, friendly, and quiet.
Budget $200-400/month.
As close to Central Business District as possible as I have no bike/moped.

What are my options?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Christine

Hi semdragon,

You can post an advert in the housing in Hanoi section. It might help you.

Thank you.

Start with Craigs List - VietNam to get a feel for the market.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HEAT! (And find out who pays for it). Be very wary of flood areas - some people have been drowned IN their apartments.

If you do not ride a bike like me, a good place to stay is near a bus stop or station. There are many buses running to the Old Quarter so is a good place to think about.
