According to melita.com/personal/telephony/international-rates/ calls to most *mobile* numbers cost considerably more than 3c per minute.

But anyway, manunited11 wants to use a mobile phone, and whether or not it is cheaper to do that with a Maltese mobile network operator depends on the rates of her UK operator. It's important to keep in mind that even in Malta, Maltese operators are not necessarily cheaper than foreign operators.

For instance, calling Maltese numbers - fixed or mobile - from my German mobile number would be less expensive than to use any of the Maltese operators. The only reason why I'm using a Maltese SIM for outgoing calls is to make it easier/more affordable for my Maltese contacts to reach me. This is something to consider if one expects to receive many local calls.

danex2  I have Melita internet and phone and my calls cost 3c per minute. OK?
A Melita casual customer or one who does not have internet will pay more.

I'm unable to find any Melita package that would allow me to call "just about worldwide to other landlines and mobiles" at 3c/min. If you are certain such an offer exists, would you please provide information on how to sign up for it? Thanks.
