I am a 26 yr old mother of 2. They are 3 years old and 8 months old. We will be moving there in Jan'11 and I am quite nervous about the move!! Also my husband will be traveling alot around France for work. So I will be alone, with two small children, in a forgein country, with a forgein language, and my husbands company is paying for our car, which a manual. Which I dont know how to drive. Sooooo, if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate anything!!

Well, it is not very easy from language point of view. I have the same problem. But i guess there are many people from US. So it can be helpful to find a friend. On the other hand city is beautiful and cuisine is marvellous. It will be an interesting challenge for your family. If you need my support just let me know.

Hello,
I am French but I lived 4 years in the US when I was younger. I am 33 and a mother of a 3 year old daughter. We moved to Lyon (from Paris) 15 days ago because of my husband's job career. We live in Confluence (2nd district)
I am planning to start my own company but I need to meet the English speaking people community in Lyon.

I have free time for coffee and I think it would be nice to meet each others.

Contact me if you are interested!

Marion
