Toy dogs living in Saudi

I have been told that small breed dogs are not aloud into KSA. But I have also heard and read some people have brought small dogs in. As I may be moving over to accompany my husband in the near future I am seeking advice from anyone that has brought over small dogs (I have chihuahuas) and the process they took to get them in.
