I don't know about Saigon but I never heard of an apartment with a gym in this country.  Not many VIetnamese exercise after college but maybe in neighborhoods catering to foreigners.  I wouldn't know.

The only gym with AC is a staggering 6.000.000₫/month.  Which is definitely for foreigners since most exercising VIetnamese run around closing windows and turning off fans.

Not sure why everyone gravitates to HCMC, I find it to be, no contest, the most unpleasant place in the country.  Crowded, filthy, polluted, glacial, an hour to get anywhere and worth your life to motorbike through.  The air will take years off your life. Not much to do but
booze and bad techno cranked to ear damage level.  I go there twice a year for my dentist, back home the same day.

You can look in district 4, not far away from district one and a bit cheaper. Can try sunrise city, they have gym and swimming pool.

If you couldn't find any building with gym and swimming pool in "this country" then look again.

Thanks - this TEFL guy seems to be having a bad day/month/life! I KNOW these apartments exist...And its not about 'gravitating' - its about going there because that's where your company wants you to go

there are many nice apartment buildings in district 1 and around which have swimming pools and gyms, all you have to do is to spend some mins to look for them and compare the prices.

You should consider 3 option below

1/ Which apartment in Dist 1 as your request such as rent a room in hotel 4* or 5* such as intercontinental

2/ Rent an apartment in Dist 1 and walking 5-10 min to the Exiciese club near there for Gym and swimming in the same place (cheaper, you have change for walking and more options)

3/ Looking in another District such as 2,4,5,7 depending your Office location

You didn't mention your budget! But if it doesn't matter, try Somerset, The Landmark, Norfolk mansion!

It will depend on your budget and office location actually.

Iam living in District 4 now, 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment ranges from $350 to $600, there is swimming pool and 2 big gym centers nearby.  It has river view and 5-10 minutes to District 1 which is the center area.

District 1 is of course the heart of the city, more luxurious and higher price apartments of course, from 700$ a 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment.

District 7 and District 3 is around 15-20 minutes from District 1. D7 is more organized place with full range of facilities including swimming pools, gym centers, supermarkets, schools etc.
