Yes, I really appreciate having moved over here! The place is calm, very beautiful in a new development constructed old fashion way (a bit like Old Town near Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa). There is a nice community mostly expats and we have our own forum for the village which starts to be very active!
Anyhow, pretty soon we'll start some outdoor activities in RAK and I hope you'll be able to join.

Yess, Ras al Khaimah is wonderful, it's not like the rest of the country; you can actually see kids playing in the street and old people, I mean really OLD people getting together for a tea, a coffee or just a talk, in the street.Compared to the rest of the UAE -  which seems an expats place, I feel it is full of life.
I personally am a fan of Al Hamrah Village but I guess I shouldn't do advertising in here
