Grew up as an expat in SE Asia.  Am now fully grown, and have been for a very long time.  Been on Canaries (Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote) for 4 years, amd now on Canarian year five in Tenerife.

Are you working in Tenerife? It must be complicated to get a job there, isn't it?

Job?  Well yes, I have one of those... difficult to find?  Er... I guess maybe, I don't know.  I have never really applied for a job before, I tend to research companies until I find one that needs my particular range of skills (and that I like the look of) and then persuade them to employ me.  It's always worked so far.

Well as you can imagine I am an IT guy

I am moving to London in a couple of weeks for an IT manager position. I used to be self-employed in Spain, working for british companies, but I'll be an employee for at least the 12 next months. Then I might move to another country
