are you asking if you can work while here as a visitor? If you do, it's probably not going to be legal. Working in Norway requires a Norwegian ID number, which you cannot get as a visitor.

stephy25

you may only look for work while on tourist visa but working while on it is a big no no.

if you get lucky to find a job offer you are required to apply for the proper working visa whether inside or outside Norway(depending on your case if they will allow you) to be able to work.

So for short like ECS said if you work on your visit visa it is definitely illegal, and you might face future consequences.

Stephy25 thanks for suggestion,i read i blog 3 way to stay legally in Europe 1.student 2.marriage(at least friend) 3.self employed work permit but i don,t understand no,2 yes marriage to the way but how can friend help to get their work any idea you have?                                                                                                                                                               Thanks

If you wish to come to Norway aside from studying a legal stay can be considered  like working here with the proper visa you can check here and further explore the UDI website: Work Immigration

Also check with your Norwegian embassy website to see your options. Don't be afraid to make calls and inquiries to proper authorities as they are the ones who can give you first hand information.

If you have friends that will be able to get you a concrete job offer (meaning with contract and that they are hiring you and would provide needed documents for you to work and relocate to Norway) then that will be very great for your plan to work here.

Friends can only help if they know a company hiring and they can give you contact information of that company or help you send your resume to them. It is always an advantage if you know the language as that is mostly a major requirement in every job here.

stephy25

Marriage for convenience just for the sake of being able to stay legally in Norway is strongly frowned upon and the embassy or UDI is always careful in checking how genuine the relationship is.

actually, citizens from EEA/EU countries don't really need a work permit. They have to register but the paperwork is different.

http://www.udi.no/en/ is a website worth checking out, as Stephy25 already mentioned. You can get customized information based on your country of citizenship. For example, here is information for citizens of Nepal who want to work in Norway:

"                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Thank you very much for useful information site.but how to find a employer company?i think i most visit Norway first in Tourist Visa get to know about company and employer and employee(applicant)

ECS

you find an employer in Norway much the same you might in other countries: professional networks, job websites, the company websites, personal connections.

However, regardless of the way you find the job, in order to get a work visa, you have to be offering the company specialized skills they cannot find in someone Norwegian or from the EEA countries.

stephy25

Exactly what ECS said you will have to find an employer, the point of "how" is using all available options that you can use: internet and connections. You will have to search just like everybody does when looking for an employer whether it's inside their country or on a foreign land.

The main thought here is the demand of the type of skill and workforce that you have plays a vital role in being hired and imported by a company.

Your plan of visiting Norway may work and you may get lucky in finding an employer, but keep in mind you only have 90 days so you still need to do your research for a list of companies that you would be aiming to apply for once you visit. Everything is a risk there is no one here can guarantee you a 100% that you will or will not get a job. All we can offer are more on the guide and information.

Maximize the connections that you mentioned you have in Norway, they might be kind enough to do some local research for you inside Norway to give you some details if there are companies they know of that are importing employees for specific skills.

As for residence visa and work permit info you may want to read the website of Denmark embassy for Nepal as they are the ones in charge of visas and permits for Norway as mentioned here : How to apply Visa to Norway in Nepal

Reading and searching is the key to find ways around your plan to work wherever you want. Best of luck in your endeavor, i hope you reach your goal :)
