Here are my top 5 tips to live in Tunisia:

1. Try to learn a little of the language before you arrive. Even just some words in greeting and brush up on your French.

2. Keep in mind that this is not like home or anywhere you've probably been. Respect the culture and you will earn respect back.

3. Try to befriend the locals. This will lead to an enriched expat experience and of course a lot of help

4. Learn about our history

5. Taste everything!!! Never turn up your nose and accept all invitations to lunch/dinner for authentic Tunisian food
