Bui Doi / (street kids- homeless )

In all the times I have been to Vietnam, I didn't really notice many homeless children there, I suppose it is a bit like Australia, most of us lucky ones never experience the seedier side of our own communities so when were abroad we only see the pretty things and not the underside. recently I have read 2 books, 1 looking at the hardships of life for the un-noticed  and the 2Nd looking at the unwanted, How many of members on the forum have seen the Bui Doi , of Vietnam? and what are your feelings and oppinions on the situation?    In asking this, PLEASE AVOID comments implicating ANY official slander / inuendo

The more I read about Bui Doi, the more I realise that I just didn't see them, it wasn't that they aren't there, just I wasn't open enough. Tran Hung Dao, did a very selfless thing in offering to take our little group out to Dong Nai. If any one would like to donate to people in destitute situations I can direct you to a worthy cause in HCMc Thanks in advance, Mark.
