you can also try to use some specialized websites concerning apartment rentals, there are great many of them
Here you can find furnished apartments for rent Berlin. Tastefully decorated and ready for you to move in. They only offer so called "approved apartments" so no need to worry about any nasty surprises. Last year we rented an apartment from this company when we had to stay in Berlin for 3 months because of my work.
