How can I get a job in Maldives and live there?

Hi All,
I am Ahmed, 27 years old from Alexandria - Egypt. I work as a Training Specialist (HR) at EZDK Steel Company since March 2012. I have a Master of International Business Administration (MIBA) from Paris Eslsca Business School.

I like travelling a lot and my dream is to move and live in a beautiful island. I think Maldives would be a good choice to do that.

I read about how to move to Maldives, and I think the right way is to get a job before I move.

I would like to know how can I get a job offer? and whether any one lives in Maldives could assist me with that?

Is it possible to come with a tourist visa and stay 1 month searching for a job and get one?

Kindly advise.

Hello Ahmed Qenawi,

sure my friend
first thing here to rent place u need at least 10000 to 20000 MVR
Food here is very expensive more than u think so u need at least 10000 MVR to eat well
transportation u need 2000$ MVR taxis unless u decide to walk
Salary here is starting from 6000 MVR
Shops and markets close at 10 PM so if its late & u hungry eat ur self
Safety here not safe place to live
Health care not good at all & very expensive also
everyone see Maldives as photos you see on internet but thats not the life
that's rich ppl side of life fact of life here is worse than u think
unless you working in a resort u will get salary start 1000$ which is 15000 MVR
living in an island u take day or 2 off weekly sometimes
eat & live in the resorts islands
