I've never seen or been aware of a tattoo studio in Tripoli but have seen plenty of terrible "home made" jobs.

Depending on the location, the pain ranges from mildly unpleasant to excruciatingly painful and you will cry!

Use a professional tattooist or you'll look like some reject from Prison Break. I only use Danny's Studio in Nottingham. There are a few places over on Malta but I've never been inked there.

I don't believe there is a big tradition of it in Libya, although I'm happy for a more knowledgeable local to prove me wrong.
I've had mine done in various countries: US,UK, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore. They all hurt - it's a needle going in & out of your skin! Pain levels vary - how many nerve endings in the area and how close to the bone is it ?
Some people feel tattoos deface the body, others that they enhance it - horses for courses.

They are addictive though....

How does it feels to have a tattoo?
Pain threshold varies from person to person. Some find it okay and some unbearable..The closer to bone, the more painful. like shin,ankle etc

No i dont think so. But I may be wrong..

.what is the impression if you have one? That too varies..some find it as the sign of a rebel, some think it as a form of art..and some find it inappropriate, some amusing..But its you who wants to do..so it depends on you. thinking about the world wont get you far. its a life long thing..removal can be done but is extremely painful and expensive. So stick with your choice!

Important :Also do read pre and post tattoo instructions..Its also available on net..eg. like you cant go to water/beach or sun for a while..hence donot plan this before a vacation. Meet the tattoo artist, check his work, check whether he uses disposable needle..Do your homework and head to a tattoo shop. Good luck
