Just download ebooks/pdf's from the net and convert them if need be, for kindle.

What type of books are you after, and out of curiosity how much does Amazon charge on average per ebook download?

I've been test driving a Sony E Reader for a month and am converted. Buying E Books is no problem.

We're no longer there since July, but when there, my daughter would buy Kindle books on her laptop, then transfer to her Kindle. I got hooked on her Kindle while there. Now though, I've been hooked on the Ipad. Love it. I wanted larger print and color.
